quick update

It's been an insane couple weeks.

We walked away from the house we were closing on this week, last week. We found out last minute some things we couldn't live with. We both feel really good about our final decision.
We found another house and before we could make an offer that night at our second showing, it was under contract.
We then looked at building in a new subdivision across from the lake but the roofs on every single new construction were messed up. My thought was if they messed up something so basic but essential as a roof, what else were they messing up on.
So, we found a rental very close to Ricky's job and it's really nice. It's a new construction, 4 bedroom, granite counters, etc. I'm excited. Our things are being delivered out of storage tomorrow!

I went into labor last Wednesday night. It was very intense but my doctor was able to get things under control quickly. I was released early Friday morning.

Truette is doing really well these days. Last week before I went into labor she was 2 pounds 2 ounces. At my appointment on Tuesday, she was 2 pounds 8 ounces and 41% fetal growth. That is a really big increase. For the first time in a long time the doctor said she was happy with the way everything is looking and her growth. I get to see her on 4D every appointment now. It's pretty much the best thing ever! This past appointment she had her left foot at her head and her right hand on her face. She is a feisty little thing and gets aggravated when they do ultrasounds. It was so cool to see her wipe her face, frown, and kick her self back to get away from the doppler thing. She looks so much like Madi it's amazing! We are so excited to meet her but not for several more weeks!

Ricky traded in his truck on Monday. I'm not sure what made us decide to do that right then in the midst of all these other huge life changing events but we did. After Truette is born, there will be no room for all of us in his truck plus we will be driving a lot of miles every week for school.  We decided to get a fuel efficient little car. Ricky made a profit on his truck- love when that happens! and we got a really great deal on a brand new car that gets either 35 or 38 mpg I don't remember- brand new. It works for us!

We took the kids to the rodeo for the first time ever yesterday. Ricky's cousin went with us. She is an Ag teacher and also involved in the rodeo so she took us right where we wanted to go. The kids love her and her husband and her baby girl is due a couple weeks before Truette so that's cool. The kids LOVED the rodeo. We bought them hats to go with their boots and I must say, we have so beautiful kids! Brody is all about being a cowboy these days and my stars when he says Yeehaw!

We are very excited to get settled in. We have a million things to do before Truette's arrival. On the top of the list is getting the kids enrolled in school for next school year. I cannot believe it's already mid March! Time is flying.

Update soon.
