"People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one."

Isn't that the truth? Madi sleeps really well through the night but the slightest noise she makes sends me shooting up from bed to check on her. It would be funny but at this point its exhausting.

Brody's ROP is getting better and correcting itself. This was the official word from the doctor today. This is some weight lifted off our shoulders but there is still some level of uncertainty. He continues to recover from surgery. He requires full support when he is heavily sleeping. The blood gas they took today looked really well. His surgery sight is a little red so they are keeping an eye on that and marking it to see if it grows larger.
Gracie is doing great. They are keeping her at two bottles until they do the swallow study to make sure she remains safe during feedings. The swallow study is set for the 27th.
Maid went to the Pedi today, she has some congestion. The Pedi isn't worried about it and said to come back next week to see what our game plan will be for the next couple of weeks. Thank God we have insurance but we still have to pay our copay so I probably need to learn how to take care of these babies and stay out of the doctor's office ;o)

Ricky has to work this weekend so Madi and I will be hanging out. Can't wait until he does not have to work weekends anymore and really can't wait until Brody and Gracie are home with us!  The holidays are right around the corner... I might just lock us up in the house and have quality time the entire holiday season... Just kidding but on a serious note, Brody has to be home for the holidays....seriously!

Please keep praying. At times, I can't see the reason for things happening but luckily, we have a loving God and He continues to pull our babies through each hurdle. It is an awesome security to have GOD on our side!
