Establishing a Christian home that honors God is the greatest challenge a couple will ever undertake. There is no substitute for rearing a child in an environment where Christ heads the family and parents remain sensitive to God's love and direction.
Twice a year, our pastor and church congregation acknowledge this great commission through Parent/Child Commitment services. During this event, parents bring their children before the assembled church to pray with the pastor and church body about the responsibilty of rearing their children according to God's precepts. In turn, the congregation supports the parents' commitment to rear their children as God desires, by promising to pray for these families.
