Things have been really rough for us since the end of November. The things we've been through break people. I've thought we were about to break but another day arrived and we made it through day by day. Anyway, things are really looking up in a BIG way. Our bid was accepted this morning for a foreclosure that is the PERFECT home for us. What I love most is I'm sure other people freaked out when their realtors took them to see the house. What we saw was a 5 bedroom house with no wasted space and plenty of opportunity and for an AMAZING price! It's a great location, great neighborhood, great school district, the pluses go on and on. We should be able to close in 30 days or less!
We got to see Truette today. Ricky was able to go to the appointment with me. I had to take a standard glucose test where you drink a really horrible sugary drink and have your blood drawn. It made me really sick after but we had an amazing appointment. Ricky got to see her in 4D. She was yawning and smiling. Even the ultrasound tech commented on how much she moves calling her a little wiggle worm as she was trying to get measurements. It was so cool because she was doing a profile shot of her and Truette turned and looked right at us. She has changed so much in two short weeks and the very BEST news is in two weeks she went from being 23% on the fetal growth chart to 40.5%!!! That is amazing! She also weighs 1 pound 11 ounces. Today I am 25 weeks 3 days the exact gestation when I had the triplets and they weighed 1 pound 10 ounces, 1 pound 12 ounces, and 1 pound 14 ounces so I'm very happy at Truette's weight. The doctor said everything was looking really good and she was really happy with her being caught up so much. She said whatever I've been doing I need to keep doing. I can assure everyone I will be. We go back in 2 weeks to check on her. She looks exactly like Madi.
It's been the best day and we can finally see the sunshine at the end of the tunnel! YAY for that!
