Having a great week so far.
Brody is on feeds again. They are slowly introducing feeds so they don't stress out his insides. He is doing awesome on his vent settings. They were able to wean down the pressure support again yesterday. When he moves a lot, he desats but it is only into the 80s which is great. They will probably wean again on Wednesday or Friday. He has his head and kidney ultrasound on Thursday. I Hope he has no kidney stones and that his brain bleeds have completely vanished. Please pray for this.
Gracie had her swallow test today. We are waiting on the results. She also had her ROP follow up and it seems things are getting better so they will check her in two weeks. I hope they increase her feeds today so we can get her home soon.
Madi is sleeping in her crib- only during the day. She seems to love her room. Her machine was going off a lot last night. I'm not sure if it was really her or the machine acting crazy. Those machines are good to have but they aren't 100 % accurate. I know this to be true when I had my contraction monitor. Anyway, I hope to get her off some of these medications on Thursday.... wish us luck.
