It has been 1 short year since Gracie's big leg surgery. A year ago I couldn't have imagined she would be doing so well so soon. It was one of the hardest decisions we've made to put her through an elective surgery that was so long, so horrible, so painful. Ricky and I are so happy we did. She doesn't wear braces on her legs and feet anymore, she can walk confidently which has helped her confidence overall. There are no more walkers or casting. It was not an easy road to recovery. Her leg go infected pretty bad and it was a nightmare but it was still worth it. What an example she is. Look at everything she has overcome and she STILL has that God given smile.
