I have not ever been happier to see Friday! This week has been the LONGEST!
Yesterday I dropped my legally blind son off at school without his glasses. Spare me, I'm awesome!
Today we sold our Suburban! Score on that! We got the exact amount we paid for it 3.5 years ago.
Today was Madi's meet the teacher. While at meet the teacher we received a call from Brody and Gracie's teacher. She asked if we were aware it was early release today at 9:55. It was around 10:15 when we got the call. Our reply was along the lines of: nope, omg, we'll be right there. Madi was disappointed we had to leave her class so early. We picked up Brody and Gracie and the teacher said she forgot to tell us. In their backpack was some papers she forgot to send home that had the early release announcement and time. Awesome!
It has been a week! I'm dog tired. The kids pretty much cry while eating dinner they are so tired. They even cried while eating ice cream one night. I'm taking the phones off the hook so we can sleep until tomorrow afternoon. Well, maybe not that late.
Apparently I need to have back surgery. The Chiropractor's office called and said surgery is needed, don't freak out, call this Neurosurgeon. Oh, and to do it today since he books up and evidently it needs to happen soon? Awesome! She also stated I'd be in the hospital for a couple days. My response was a nervous laugh. There is no way on this green earth I can have back surgery. For one, I can't be in the hospital for any amount of time because we have kids! Two, I cannot have back surgery because I still pick my kids up. Three, I cannot have back surgery because it terrifies the daylights out of me. Need I go on? I have a disc extrusion in my spinal column. The disc ruptured out of the vertebrae and is leaking some type of substance. It can cause extreme pain to backache which is what happens to me. I'm either going about life with a backache or I can't walk, move, hurts to breathe, etc. This is just great.
That's our week. I really hope the weekend is better! Ricky is off on Monday too!
