Meet Gracie

We have had so many great things happen this weekend. Yesterday, Gracie's primary nurse had this photo waiting on me. I just started crying as did her other primary nurse. This is the very first time I've seen her entire face. She is such a doll. Gracie is now on nasal cannula! She is doing really great with it. They have already weaned her down to 1/8 of a liter which is the lowest amount of oxygen. It looks like she will be making her way to level II this week. She is such a happy baby now. I have met her all over again. I can't wait for her to come home.
Brody is doing good. They have changed him to the bigger vent and it supports him much better. He is such a long little boy. Very long and thin. All of his weekly blood tests were good as well as his x ray. I keep reminding myself that slow and steady wins his race.
Madilynn is ready to come home. It will probably be early next week when she does come home. She no longer has oxygen or a feeding tube since she is on full bottles. She has now decided that she needs to cry anytime she moves. I guess this means she is really ready to come home. We have some tests that she will need to pass before she is released. We are waiting on her temperature to stabilize before these tests can be done.
