The girls are together! Gracie is in the bed to the left and Madi is in the "bucket" to the right. They can look at each other :) Gracie passed Brody on the way out of NICU III. It made me really sad to leave him behind. I want nothing more than for him to catch up.
The babies will have their first set of shots tonight. I'm happy this is at the hospital in case they run a fever or something. Madi will have her sleep study today. She passed her hearing test. I'm keeping the paper that shows she can hear for when she is older and acts like she can't hear. She also had her test to see if she was on target for her age and to my surprise she is right on track. Usually preemies are behind so this is great news. If you have not got your flu shot yet, I asked about the nasal spray vaccine and you can do that instead of the actual shot since it is giving you the same medicine.
Thanks for all the cards, phone calls, and emails wishing me a happy birthday. This is the best birthday yet and I can't wait to see what this next year brings.
